ABOUT MRS. RIPPY
WHY I BECAME A TEACHER
-
I was born and raised in rural Montana, where I was raised in a Christian home. I was the youngest of 5 children. My dad was a math teacher.
-
As a teenager, I had an experience where I observed a situation where a toddler was clearly suffering from neglect, and I wished I could take him home with me to love and shelter him. From that day on I was determined to make sure any child that I was privileged to work with would find a loving, safe, nurturing environment to thrive in.

WHY I TEACH AT ZION LUTHERAN
-
In 2012 I settled in here at Zion as the Kindergarten teacher, where I have found a love of teaching this particular age of student. I love teaching them to read, and I can't think of anything I'd rather do. I continue to teach at Zion because I love the Lord. This is a special and unique place, where the students are given the kind of love and care that God our Father gives to us. It is a part of everything that we are as a school, we are special children of God, and we teach a Biblical World View so that the students will know their creator, and follow Him.
-
I'm so thankful to God that He has been with me on this long journey and has given me the character that my experiences in this life have honed. There is nothing more important in this life that we can do than to prepare for Eternity. We will be there far longer. God is real, he created us, and he REDEEMED us. This is most certainly true.
